MRO Release 36 includes a new spherical harmonics gravity model, along with maps of free-air gravity anomalies, Bouguer gravity anomalies, degree strength and crustal thickness maps. The data are derived from radio science observations from the beginning of the MRO mission through March 30, 2015, and from radio science data from other Mars missions. These data products have been developed at Goddard Space Flight Center. |
